Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire, a quiet area in The West Island of Montreal is one of those "sleepy" place. This West Island, to those not familiar with it, is an extensive region that runs from Lachine to the west. Amanda Brugel's birthplace has been frequently mentioned, but her brief visit to the West Island wasn't. Brugel became an aspiring young lady in Courtice Ontario, outside Oshawa. The first goal she had was to become a dancer. But, a growing spurt caused her to outgrow all of the dance partners she had. According to an article in the Toronto Star, she revealed her height in heels as 6 foot 1 inches tall. As I grew older than my male companions, I quit. Many ex-dancers switch to acting. In Brugel's case it was the guidance of her drama teacher at high school that led her to take the step she needed. The teacher who suggested she take on a part in the annual school production. It was her choice to take on the principal role of Anne of Green Gables after she auditioned for. The Fine Arts Talent Scholarship led her to York University, where she studied Theatre and received the Bachelors in Fine Arts in the year 2000. Since then, she's appeared involved in more than 60 shows, large and small. One of the most memorable was when she landed Rita's role in The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel was only seen on a few moments in the very first season of the show The Handmaid's Tale. She was the sole Canadian participant.

Aisha Hinds, an American actor best famous for her role in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut, she has shown her acting versatility by performing outstandingly in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome.
