Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor throughout his career. Most famously, he is popular for the roles he was in "Law & Order Special Victims Unit". The first time he became interested in acting was in his early college days. He studied acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. He's appeared in films and television, but it was his smaller-screen roles that brought him fame and an extensive following. He can play each of the characters on behalf of the police as well as the other. This is the reason that makes him so popular. He played the serial killer role in his debut television show and later played the role an NYPD detective. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he's been awarded multiple nominations for prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. His piercing blue eyes his face have been deemed to be the most appealing feature. These have been used to portray rough characters and make them more appealing. He was featured in 2006 when he was included on People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
